Head coach Randy Edsall indicated at the Terp Town Hall Meeting that there would be some position changes for some players in 2011. Here are a couple which were recently announced. Jeremiah Wilson and Devin Burns, both redshirt freshmen this past Fall, have switched positions. Wilson has moved from defensive back to running back and Burns has gone from quarterback to wide receiver.

Coach Edsall indicated the team is getting ready for Spring practice, which gets started on Tuesday, March 29. The Terps will practice every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and the annual Red-White Spring Game is on April 30th at 3:30 PM.

Right now the team is in its off-season program. This includes weight lifting and conditioning drills. Those take place each Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and end at the university's Spring break (March 21-25).

Edsall is happy with how recruiting is going so far for 2012.

"We have been very productive and are getting a lot of work done so far."

Edsall also commented on creating a new image for Maryland Football, including new uniforms.

"I have a meeting on that this afternoon in terms of some marketing strategies. The uniforms we will be displaying are outstanding. The recruits who are coming in are very impressed with the design and the options. I think that everybody will be please once they see the new uniforms as well as some other new things that we will be doing as well."
