Maryland offensive line coach Tom Brattan will return to the team next season under first-year coach Randy Edsall, the school's athletic department announced in a press release yesterday.
Brattan, a ten year veteran of Maryland football, joins defensive coordinator Don Brown and wide receivers coach Lee Hull as holdovers from former coach Ralph Friedgen's staff that will remain at Maryland with Edsall.
Brattan has an impressive resume. Since 2001, seven Maryland offensive linemen have earned all-ACC first team honors. This season Brattan did an amazing job with a banged up line and Offensive lineman Paul Pinegar earned honorable mention all-ACC honors.
The Terps could have as many as seven offensive linemen with starting experience return for next season.
Also Louisiana State announced the resignation of offensive coordinator Gary Crowton. Crowton is expected to join Edsall's staff in the same capacity.
